- CCConnorJul 13, 20261.0Who ever the receptionist is that answer the phone today definitely needs to be retrained. Had a terrible attitude and acted like didn’t wanna help. Please do better.
- EEElla EngelsJun 9, 20261.0Duvallis (not sure how to spell her name) customer service rep, had a bad attitude for the very brief phone call we shared today. I didn’t appreciate her attitude and when I called her out on it she didn’t apologize but she transferred me to a banker who could answer my question. The banker didn’t answer, I called back, talked to her again and suddenly she acted like the question she couldn’t help me with 1 minute ago was now obvious and gave me a direct answer. I hope she’s telling me the truth so that I don’t have any problems tomorrow when I drive 5 hours to close my account. I’ve worked customer service for years, so I try to be very clear, kind, and respectful to the ones helping me. She may be having a bad day, but don’t try and make me feel stupid after I was kind.
- MLMaiVue LorOct 27, 20231.0I had bank with Citizen Independent Bank for over 15+years, but when someone's trying to take money from my account everyday over and over making my account goes negative the bank did nothing to stop them or calling me. On top of that the bank kept charging me for overdraft fee. When I called and asked the bank to put a stop on my account, they told me that because my account is negative and I don't have enough money in my account to pay for the stop fee there's nothing they can do for me. Wow!!!

As a new customer they helped find the best options for me when I opened my accounts. Yesterday my purse was stolen and we called them right away. The speed in which they sprung into action was outstanding! Ashley and Johanna really made me feel like everything was going to be okay. I was so frightened that the thief had all of my banking information and they took care of everything. My husband was out of town and they even took every measure to make sure that he was able to access our funds while traveling. I left the bank today feeling safe again. Thank you CIB for including us in your family!
