  United Prairie Bank - Mountain Lake is a common sense bank, and is greatly appreciated as such. My daughter-in-law switched to UPB because she was being told at her previous bank that her two year old needed to be present in order for her to deposit a check into his account and/or to take cash out…even when her name was on the account! Another bank, we have been told that our nursing home clients need to come to the bank or to go on-line for easy transactions rather than phone banking…when they don’t have access to a cell phone or computer and can’t get to the bank personally without major effort.   Love this branch. Everyone is always smiling and very helpful. Bank is always decorated so nicely too.
