  Do not bank here. They take people through too many hoops to get approved for loans. They will be soon switching names, probably to try to redeem themselves from all these bad reviews!! My son who is now 19 has banked with this place since he 16. This was his first bank account when he started working. He has been at his job for almost 3 years. He has had their credit card as well. He applied for a loan and was denied because they wanted him to have a co signer which we tried 2 people with good credit and he was still denied. These people do not help young people trying to establish credit, which he has worked hard to get. UPDATE....... We received a call from Travis from the St. Paul location. Travis was able to make a call and get my son approved on his own for a loan that he was pleased with. Thank you Travis!!

  I started banking at Electrus until Spire bought them. Spire changed into Blaze so I have been banking with blaze since then for a total of around 30 years with this institution. Recently I had to update my banking information for Treasury Direct. I had to have a document signed and certified by Blaze. My appointment was with Dawn at the Maple Grove office and she took care of what I needed and much more. I have always used my bank account to receive deposits and have a payments for bills paid from Checking. The savings account was emergency money is some unexpected payments occurred. Dawn was reviewing my account and gave me information that I never knew about. She told me about their money market, dividend checking (which has extra perks for retirees), and most importantly the rates they offered on Certificates of Deposits which are some of the best rates offered. This turned my Blaze account into much more than I’ve been using it for. She opened a money market to keep my emergency funds in which are easily transferred to my checking when needed. This account is needed and it doesn’t pay an incredible amount but quite a bit more than my savings account. The dividend checking gives me free checking but pays a little interest and provides free checks. The most important part of this is I was looking for a place to move some money from other accounts. I have since moved $20,000 into their certificates of Deposit with Cassandra at the Maple Grove office. She was equally as helpful and pleasant to work with. Between the two of them they turned my mundane banking account into an important financial account for me. I’ve never been unhappy with Electrus, Spire, or Blaze and they were all important. Now, however, they’ve become an important financial account that includes my banking needs. I’m always learning new things. Dawn and Cassandra opened my eyes on what my local bank had to offer me. The older I get the more priority I put on places I can trust. Blaze is one of those places.

  Fran was very personable and professional . Pleasant experience . An establishment is only as good as the employees representing it . The products and services are great but for me it was the help from Fran that really set this place above others.
