  Been a loyal customer for over 5 years but service has become inflexible and their best staff have moved on. the existing staff are unhelpful and lack empathy. over the years, i've had to deal with Viking's slow processing time for everything like mobile deposit or even getting a new card but never really mind because i want to support small town banks but the excessive processing/penalty fees are become agressive and staff unwilling to help even if the problem is their own system effiency. Viking Bank is a perfect example of why small town banks are dying, they are outdated and inefficient, they are unwilling to change even with how fast technology is improving. i know for sure i will find somewhere else to bank with because i can't tolerate their fees, slowness and attitude any longer.

  The level of service I receive from top to bottom is so great. Matt G has constantly gone above and beyond to help me get my business started with seemingly nothing but taking care of my needs in mind. If your tired of all the fees and difficulty dealing with the big banks, and prefer to do business in person, give them a try!
