  Tried using Flagstar for a bit versus the big banks where I also have accounts like Chase and BofA. However, this bank (not branch specifically) is amateur hour. Their entire system has been down for two days—debit cards aren’t working; can’t transfer funds; can’t pay bills. No heads up from them: no courtesy email saying what’s wrong or when things will be fixed. Their customer service number is 2+ hour wait. Went in to close my account this morning and it’s like they know they have no excuse. Didn’t ask why I was closing, didn’t even try to retain me. I thought they’d be more appreciative of the business but back I go to fully using the national banks.

  Benjamin Chauvin is the person we will always want to do business with at Flagstar Bank. He is very knowledge able and looks for the best products to meet our needs. Friendly and a pleasure to do business with. We give him 5 stars plus ! The stuff there is also very friendly.

  Worst Bank and staff Loan officer Mina Jabro unprofessional I had the worst experience!!! Will not recommend her to anyone!! Inaccurate interest rate Not answering phone calls or calling back Unprofessional work It took Mina Jabro almost two months and she did nothing just wasting my time. Paid $510 for appraisal! and two days before closing I reviewed the closing documents by myself, was surprised the interest rate is even higher than my current one! Since day one I told her the option I want and she offered me 3.6% but on the papers just before closing, the documents shows 4.7% interest rate!! I called Mina but no answer or call back. After all of this she is texting me to find another option for me. IT’s TOO LATE!!! I will not waist more time with you.

  Do not get a Mortgage here unless you like a lot of problems! They are horrible to deal with and don't even know how to calculate your escrow account. All the other banks we have had mortgages through did it perfectly. But not Flagstar. They mess up and now we owe $4500 because they didn't calculate that the new house wasn't fully assessed .mike in the supposed "office of the President" wouldn't let me talk to the President. Maybe the president or board of directors should look at the terrible reviews on every locations Google Reviews and try to help these folks and retrain their staff. It would be great to have good service instead of sub standard service. Or else bring in a New President to clean this up. I'm extremely frustrated.
