  I am not surprised to read many horrible reviews about the customer service at Flagstar bank. I had probably the worst customer service experience that I have ever had in my life at any business in this branch today (Pelham, Taylor). The person I dealt with today, that appeared to be in some sort of management capacity was absolutely the most rude, condescending person I have ever met in a business setting. There seems to be a culture of rudeness with this institution. If a manager behaves this way, you can see it just trickles down and everyone then feels it's okay to behave this way. To end the experience as I was walking out, this person clearly in need of some sort of mental help, had the nerve to end the meeting with a very loud, sarcastic, "Have a Nice Day" I guess someone that comes off in such a superior way believes that her sarcasm is lost on others. Once I told her that, she then decided to say again, but, different now, "Have a Blessed Day". This person was no more interested in my having a good day then she was in being concerned about my customer service issue. With all of the other reviews I see that say basically the same thing about their service, I'm surprised that this young woman is still employed there, but, as I mentioned, it must be the Flagstar way. I banked with Comerica for 15 years before changing banks. Their service was very professional and courteous. You always new that they valued your business. Don't waste your money going to this bank.

  I am surprised at any bad reviews of this branch or any others to be honest , I have always had a positive experience with this branch and flagstar ,even though they don't have alot of branches and its not always easy for me to get to them I still wouldn't want to deal with anyone else.

  Thank you to the employee that brought me cold water while my car would not start back up at the ATM. I was so stressed I didn't ask her name. Thank you so much for the kindness

  2 visits, both times staff was responsive, helpful and patient. I'd give 10 stars if I could. It's interesting to see bad reviews here because that is extremely far from my experience.
