  After many many years with PNC, and also long before they became PNC, I am looking into closing my accounts. I had to pay a late fee to Macomb County Tax dept for my home owners taxes. The sent a paper check to Macomb county for my taxes and Macomb county didn't receive it until approximately 3 weeks later. I think everyone knows that the mail service is ridiculous and I never requested that a paper check be sent. It's ridiculous that they will loose a long standing customer over $41.00. I had many conversations with multiple customer service reps and got no where. One star is being generous!

  Very rude staff, they don't want to help people when they walk in just for Basic questions. Manager refused to due a notary for one of my accounts for divorce. I'm a PNC customer. Pathetic excuses to not work.

  If you own a business, I strongly advise against banking with PNC. They may promise you the best banking experience, but in reality, you’ll face significant problems. For instance, how can it be possible to use your debit card and then two days later, the money still be available in your checking account? A busy business owner won’t notice a two-day delay and will likely use those funds for another purchase, resulting in overdraft fees and negative balances. Moreover, any merchant mistakes will be your responsibility, leading to even more account issues. For example, I have an email confirmation of a canceled hotel booking, and three weeks later, that same hotel transaction went through, creating a negative balance. This has never happened with any other bank. I deeply regret not banking with a major institution. The pinnacle process is another problem. They give you only an hour to set up your account and then put you under time pressure during the setup. It’s completely unprofessional! I emailed to cancel my pinnacle account, never even used it, but even after doing so, they still charged me, including an overdraft fee. All I wanted was to close my business account and walk away, but now I’m forced to cover another debt, an unfair debt, just to close the account. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSTITUTION! I’m not the only person stating this.
