  I went in and opened an account there a few weeks ago, that process was a bit complicated and the associate was newer so we were being more patient, we finished the process and went on our way. The account number that was written on all my documentation and checked off as the “checking” account, was actually the number of the savings account that was opened the same day. So I changed over all my bills to that account number which made them all bounce back until I realized what was happening. There have been some other issues in the last 3 months of us attending and using this location, including incongruities just trying to cash a check, depending on the associate working. Wondering now if making the switch to this bank was worth it.

  I’ve been with this flagstar since I’ve had a banking account. Since flagstar switched their credit card “responsibilities” over to FNBO, I have had to do a password reset every single time I have to log in, because my passwords don’t save for them for some reason?? Not to mention their customer service not even having my email on file despite having a person over the phone reset my password and make sure my email is on file 3 TIMES!!!! I literally have no way of paying off my credit card besides waiting on the phone for 30 minutes to have a person reset my password so I can get in and that only seems to work the first time I log in. Only putting this review on here because this branches into my perspective of flagstar as a banking service as a whole for allowing this botched of a service to handle my credit card responsibilities. Way to make it easier on the customers yall
