Founded in 1934 as Flint Teachers Credit Union, we historically served the unique financial needs of educators in Flint, Michigan. As membership expanded and grew, we embarked on a name change to praise and empower the good people we serve.
The name Flint Area School Employees Credit Union changed to Sovita Credit Union on July 2, 2018.
