- GBGabrielle BlatzMar 4, 20265.0My husband and I were short on our escrow and I wanted to pay it at the bank. I started out calling the Berkley branch. The customer service was terrible. The person at the Berkley branch would not take my calls after putting me into a vicious cycle with the automated system twice, this after assuring me, I would get a physical person. Frustrated, I called the Birmingham bank. After a very brief hold, I was told , Yes come in, we will help you. The difference in customer service was night and day. From The minute I walked in I was greeted by EVERYONE. Gidget helped me get my escrow shortage off, even waiting for my daughter to get back to us with information I didn't have. I felt like they put out a red carpet for me and its been a long time since Ive had customer service this good. Thank you Gidget and everyone the Birmingham office for your kindness, consideration and thoughtfulness. I will only use your branch in the future.
