  Wrote a check to my painter and when he went to cash it they put him thru the 3rd degree claiming my signature didn’t look like it did 35 years ago when I opened my account. I’ve written many checks over 35 years and never was there a problem. My payee happens to have black skin and I think that was the problem. My painter called me and I had to call the bank back and give my last 4 of the social to get my him paid. Further I was advised by the teller to come fill out a new signature card. I’m going to fill out a new signature card at another bank.

  A few months ago, I had dealt with some extensive fraud on my personal PNC account for which the disputes had been improperly handled by my local branch. So on my way into work I chose to stop by this location so that way the disputes that had not been filed as they had already been supposed to be properly escalated so that I could get my money back. After a short wait, I first spoke to Paul, who at first seemed very welcoming. However, as I was trying to get to get the dispute escalations filed, he asked some rather confusing questions that I had asked for clarification on before he started getting an attitude, raising his voice, and acting rather fierce and abrasive towards me. I’ve been a PNC customer for over 10 years and never in my time had I been treated so poorly by a PNC employee whether in a branch, over the phone, or wherever. I asked for a supervisor because I could not tolerate the way he yelled and argued with me. Eventually Jae, the assistant branch manager, showed up and took me back to his workspace with him. Fortunately he was much nicer and easier to work with, and we were able to get the dispute escalations filed (ended up getting my remaining money back a few days later). However, due to the otherwise horrid customer service and treatment up to that point, particular from Paul, I have not nor plan to return to this PNC location ever again.

  Attempting my luck after numerous failed attempts to obtain notary services at multiple establishments, I was not only helped to completion, but found myself being aided by the branch manager. I have been with PNC for decades and intend to continue with them.

  Ridiculous wait time. I eventually had to leave because I couldn’t wait any longer and nobody cared to update me on the wait time. One teller was talking to her friend on the phone loudly and inappropriately. What I needed to get done was simple but now it won’t be done in time for what i needed it for. Nice going PNC. Your lack of customer service shows.
