  Worst bank ever. Have had accounts here since I was a teenager, and can see the degradation in customer service over the past 30 years. Employees say they can help, but then refer you to departments that can only be reached by phone. You can't even contact via email or fax. If you have a check that has been placed on a hold, you will get referred to customer service agents in a foreign country whose first language is not English, and their familiarity with the US banking system is next to nothing. But, first, you must wait on hold for 40 minutes or more before they answer. Then, after you have gone through the account verification process, they will ask you if they can put you on hold. Fifteen or 20 minutes later, you will be disconnected with nothing to show for your time and no resolution. PNC also does not stand by its Bill Pay promise that if a payment arrives late and you incur a late fee, they will pay it. They refused six of mine only after I noticed over a $1,000 of late fees on a mortgage statement from my lender. PNC - you can and should do better. Hire customer service reps in our time zone who are fluent in how retail banking works, and train them to find solutions. You have lost a customer with me after so many bad experiences and you will lose my family membets, too. No customers means no deposits and no bank. Good-bye PNC. 9/5/26 - update - PNC, I see your response, but,again, it shows a lack of a solution. All I am asking is for someone in PNC to do their job. If a check I deposited looks fraudulent, contact the other bank, and let me know you have done that. I was able to reach the other bank very easily. Don't sit on the check for a week, and not be able to tell me any progress about getting this deposited so I have access to MY money. Also, referring me to messaging on X on Facebook just shows a lack of understanding your customer base....I asked to be able to contact the fraud department by email. I don't do my personal banking inquiries over social media! 9/9/26 - After almost 2 weeks without funds for which I have waited 2 years to receive (let that sink in) I confirmed with bank on which check was drawn that PNC presented this check and under Federal Reg CC, other bank either had to accept and pay or return check unpaid in that short timeframe. All of this happened by 8/31. PNC, why are you holding back my funds without good reason? Is it because I used a PNC atm for deposit? Why should it matter if that is an option? Requiring me to take time off from work and come into the branch where deposited is a bit much to ask when you already have the funds. No one in your customer service can help over the phone and the fraud detection unit is a joke with its overseas reps whose first language is not English and who do not know US banking practices or rules. Also, PNC, issuing another hold notice on this deposit without specifying the number of days by which the funds will be made available is a violation of Federal banking law. Please look for a CFPB complaint.

  JACKSON IS AMAZING! My husband and I came into bank to activate our business cards, Jackson assisted and then after talking with him, he explained the great benefits with banking with PNC, not only for our business, but for personal as well. We decided to open a personal account with PNC and Jackson made this process a smooth and pleasant one. He is also very friendly and easy to talk to. If Jackson interacts with more customers and they leave a Google review like myself, I'm confident your current review score will improve. Thank you Jackson for being amazing!

  This branch has hands down the worst customer service even by large bank standards. My fiancé and I came in several months ago to be added to each other’s accounts. We had a pleasant conversation with the employee assisting us, and all was assumed to be fine. However after a few days we still didn’t see each other’s accounts in online banking. I called the branch and was told due to a holiday it may take extra time, which is fair. However after several more business days still nothing showed up and I called again. This time I was told that the person had forgotten to send our new signature cards in for processing. I do understand that mistakes happen and had this been the only incident I would have not cared. However, my fiancé made an appointment more recently for us to come in to open a credit card at the branch. I was unable to come but the branch said they could start the process and add me later. When my fiancé got there early for her appointment, she was told it would be a brief wait by a teller. One of the employees was with a customer but the other employee did not appear to be with anyone. Neither made any effort to estimate a wait time or greet her as the teller had. After waiting 30 minutes AFTER her scheduled appointment time, she walked out of the branch. We will never be going to this branch again, and I recommend others do the same.
