  I'm a victim of fraud, and Middlesex Federal Savings, F.A.'s partner, Novo fintech, is not doing anything about the fact that they allowed someone to create an account using my business name. I found this out because I received a debit card in the mail. I've never done business with Novo or Middlesex. I contacted Novo immediately, telling them that someone has committed fraud and they actually sent me a spammy-looking Docusign to verify that I am who I say I am despite my website and social media accounts that have existed for more than a decade. I'm not filling that out. No way. I filed a case with the BBB a few days ago instead, but Novo STILL won't tell me that they've suspended that account. In fact, they keep emailing me asking to respond to their support team when I have - every single time. As of the time I'm writing this, someone could be committing fraud against me, AS I WRITE THIS, using my business credentials. Novo's security verification is seriously lacking, and I can only imagine that FDIC-backed Middlesex Federal Savings, F.A.'s security verification is equal to Novo's. As I've told Novo: the next call is to my attorney if this is not resolved this upcoming week.

  Zero Communication, Zero Support Attempted to set up a business account for our nonprofit organization. Successfully created login credentials but never received any follow-up communication, confirmation emails, or next steps from NOVO. After several weeks of silence, attempted to log in to complete the account setup and was met with "incorrect password" errors. No password reset options worked, no customer support response, nothing. For an organization that needs reliable banking infrastructure to process donations and manage operations, this level of communication failure is completely unacceptable. Business banking requires responsiveness and reliability - NOVO provided neither. Switched to Relay and had fully functional business checking and savings accounts operational within 30 minutes, with actual customer support and clear processes. If you're considering NOVO for nonprofit or small business banking, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. When your financial operations are on the line, you need a platform that actually responds to customers.

  Extremely frustrated with their phone support staff. When I called in trying to explain the situation I'm trying to resolve I was cut off multiple times with the attendant guessing at what I needed to do before I fully explained the situation. She also said she'd get me the email address that I needed to reach out but ended the call and hung up before doing so. Now I feel like I have to call back, go through the same frustrating experience, just to get the email for the people she thinks I actually need to talk to. The ironic part of that situation was that I was originally transferred to her because she was supposed to be the one to be able to help me

  I have a safe deposit box and an account here-very friendly and responsive group of people. It's banking as it should be.
