  I've been a PNC Bank customer for 15 years, and for good reason -- they've helped me out of a bind with my checking account in the past and have never charged me a dime for my checking account, although they often hassle me to upgrade to their more costly Performance account. This is my local branch, and the last time I went in they treated me like a criminal. I was planning a family yard sale and needed change (ones, quarters, dimes, etc) for a 20 dollar bill. When I went to the counter, the lady looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to change cash -- they made me not only show my ID, but also my debit card JUST TO GET CHANGE for a $20 that I withdrew from their ATM machine outside seconds before. Does anyone else remember the days when banks would make change for you without having to show your freaking birth certificate? Maybe when I was younger, but that was many moons ago and now it seems like they just see us as lowly peons to take advantage of. Good thing you can now do most anything you need from the ATM machine, because there's no way I'm going back into this location until the elitist, suspicious and downright weird attitude of the employees at this location changes.
