  James is a bilingual enrolled agent. In a prior year he fixed my return after another enrolled agent completely lost my depreciation schedule. He also helped with assets from another country.

  We are truly desperate and extremely disappointed with our experience. We used James to prepare my mother’s taxes this year, and it has been an absolute disaster. My mother's tax return and refund has not been showing in the state system and we have contacted him many times—via email, phone calls, and in-person visits—over the past several months asking him to please resend it. He has been very difficult to even get in touch with. At this point, we are planning to file the taxes ourselves because we have not been able to get needed help or communication from him. This has been the worst accountant experience we have ever had. We paid for his services hoping for peace of mind and to ensure everything was done correctly, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

  Highly recommend Sparks Tax and Accounting! This is my first year working with James but he went above and beyond by not only filing my taxes for 2021 but reviewing my taxes from 2020 and finding a discrepancy which got me additional money my previous tax preparer had overlooked.

  Very friendly and knowledgeable, helped with an audit we were going through, and was able to minimize our losses. He even went above and beyond when I was working out of state to accommodate my schedule and meet after hours.
