- EDEmily DickersonDec 29, 20211.0PLEASE CONTACT ME. 12/12 PNC accepted a deposit of $280 to a bank account closed in April. Instead of declining the deposit (as PNC customer service said would happen) I was Instead mailed a check on 12/14. I was told to allow 3-5 business days. Today is 12/29 and I have yet to receive the check or ANY communication about my money! I have called every time! I ensured that my phone number email home address were current aswell. I was told that I would be contacted about changes in the account and have not received ANYTHING.I placed a complaint and asked to speak to a supervisor and after a lengthy hold am told I will be contacted within 24 hours. That was 12/22! I have made over 10 phone calls with no resolution! I was told I could not even be provided with proof of their errors. I could only go to a branch to verify the money had been deposited to a closed account. The deposit was apart of the funds I had to renew my lease on the 15th. I had no reason too believe that PNC would fail so extravagantly. i continued to tell my landlord I would have the deposit then have to call and apologize and offer no explanation as none was given too Me! I informed them I had also been charged a 100 late fee and was unable to renew my year lease! I'm a single mother of 2 children I need every dollar I earn.
