With a focus on community, Jack A. Marantz founded Bank of Springfield (BOS) in Springfield, Illinois in 1965. Today, the tradition continues under the leadership of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Tom Marantz; our President, Mike Pence; and Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Board, Jason Knoedler.
From our roots as a neighborhood bank on the southeast side of Springfield, Illinois; BOS has grown to 14 full-service branches in Illinois and Missouri and one loan production office in Missouri.
