I scheduled my appointment in advance, received a reminder the day before. I do not have a car, so I had to make arrangements and commute to be available for the appointment. The expert never showed up, and I received no communication, explanation, or notice that the appointment would be missed. After waiting, I had to contact customer service myself to find out what was going on. Even the customer service representative was unable to reach the expert or get a response. The lack of communication and accountability was extremely frustrating and made an already inconvenient situation even worse. As a first-time customer, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and reliability, especially for a service handling important tax matters. This experience left a very poor impression, and I hope TurboTax takes steps to ensure this does not happen to other customers.
