  I have never been more disappointed in a bank. I did the check ready program with this bank. The banker told me I would get the best interest rate (5.94% at the time) provided the car was within the 2 year mark and my loan was less than or equal to 15k. After buying my car i found that they gave me an interest rate of (6.44%) My credit score is well above 800 and I had several thousand in the bank with excellent payment history. They raised the interest rate because my loan was for 14.2k and not exactly 15k. This doesnt even mathematically make sense. And it wasn't what the banker told me the entire time I was there. I fought for the loan amount to go down to the better amount because I'm more than qualified for it but they want to put money over customer satisfaction and what is right. I closed this account and moved banks after this even though I have a home loan and auto loan through them. I will be moving those as well. DO NOT BANK WITH PNC. They don't care for their customers. Not to mention the entire process was drawn out and they made me jump through literally every hoop possible to close this account.

  There are never enough people to help you there. One personal banker available. Walk in, nope need an appointment . It's like your time means nothing to them. And let's not even talk about drive up time. And lunchtime when people have no others choice. Forget about it.Get some people in there please.

  I scheduled an appointment days ahead of time to get some help with closing an account. Fast forward to the day of, apparently the person I was supposed to meet was not there, and I was told to reschedule. Apparently no one at the entire branch could help me with this, even though I just needed help closing an account. They seemed more than happy to open an account with me though, and kept pushing their agenda onto me. I’m an extremely busy person, at the very least I would expect an email or text message telling me my appointment was canceled ahead of time, I only get so much time off my job and you are telling me that I just wasted HOURS of my precious time getting told that my scheduled appointment was pointless? I’ve been to many other branches who are much better to work with, but there were over a dozen staff here and not a single one seemed to be able to help me. Plan accordingly if you are coming here for an appointment!

  From the moment I walked in Samantha Krause made me feel welcome and comfortable. She was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and was genuinely kind the entire time. This was the best banking experience I have ever had!
