- UGUtah Home GirlFeb 4, 20261.0Are they Human? Or are they SLOTHS? If I had been waiting for Craig or David in a life or death situation, I would be DEAD! Seriously SLOW to respond! SLOW to have answers and do NOT call with new information. Last year we were waiting for several WEEKS for underwriting to give information on our loan application. After trying to reach our loan officer (mentioned above) leaving message after message after message over a week and a half, we were FINALLY told that he was on vacation for the next 2 WEEKS. Recently we swept the previous situation under the rug because we had a large wire from the sale of an investment coming in. AGAIN, took 6 DAYS to open a special account. Then, when the money needed to be wired it FAILED, and we were told there would be a HOLD on the funds since our sweet Title Agent from out of state took a check to the local Zions bank and deposited it herself. She didn’t want to try another wire and have it fail. Because she deposited a large check we were told they would have to get back to us to see if they could verify the funds and take the 10 business day hold off the account. The NEVER DID! EVER! No phone call! No email! NOTHING! If I only had them to depend on, I would still be waiting for funds to clear. I drove straight to Idaho Falls and was helped by Austin the branch manager! He QUICKLY called the Title Company and verified the funds then called the Zions bank out of state where the deposit was made and asked the teller to release the hold! Thank you AUSTIN! Is this the difference of rural town vs. larger more than 3 stop lights kind of town??? Never again! I will happily drive the 30 minutes for competence and someone who understands things can be solved with phone calls!

They have made even simple things like opening accounts for our teens into a cumbersome process. Very disappointing.
