- BSB SaedJul 20, 20261.0First off, I tried to cash a check there and was told that I could not as I did not bank there. This should not have been a problem. They said it was their policy. I asked for a supervisor and said what if we just verify the funds from the payer, would I be able to cash it then? That is often done. Mgr stated that it is illegal to verify funds, banks do not verify funds, she does not know how to call and verify that the funds are there. So oh well. I am horrified. Cashing checks is one of many basic functions performed At A Bank.
