- PKPharfid KnewgunApr 29, 20261.0They are not open on Saturdays! I stopped in 3 times over 1 year inquiring about loans. All 3 times the loan officer was new and had to look up what I would consider to be basic knowledge for a loan officer. I want my banker to be confident and knowledgeable, otherwise I'll just go through the Internet for my banking needs. We have been with that bank for 32 years (First Federal was great, then bought out by Great Western and they were OK, then bought out by First Interstate which does not have Midwestern values) and this year I finally pulled the plug and went to another bank. The final straw was when the started being closed on Saturdays. On the Saturday that I tried to go to First Interstate and found it they were closed, I went to another bank, opened a checking, savings, credit card and got a HELOC. All on a Saturday! I had tried to get a HELOC with First Interstate the week prior, but the loan officer couldn't even tell me when I could fill out the application because she was so new. In my opinion (that's what this platform is about), they have no where to go but up, so I wish them luck.

Today I went in and was having a rough morning because there was a problem with my account and they were very understanding, walked me through how the problem happened, and helped me fix it.

Today I talked on the phone with Ciera, and she was SO kind and helped me out so much on a mistake that I now realize was 100% my fault and tbh kinda embarrassing! Anyways, if you’re looking for a good bank with friendly staff and even better customer service this is DEFINITELY the bank you’ll wanna switch to!
