They wer quick to teply to my text emails and my phone calls.   I had a bankruptcy consultation and was asked to submit detailed financial documents in advance, which I did expecting a focused discussion of my options. The call lasted about 1.5 hours, but much of the time was spent reviewing information I had already provided rather than explaining strategy. The main issue I wanted clarity on—why Chapter 13 was recommended over Chapter 7—was not meaningfully addressed. After the call, I sent five reasonable follow-up questions about that recommendation. Shortly afterward, my appointment was canceled, and I was told the attorney did not feel comfortable moving forward with my case. I respect that attorneys can choose their clients, but I was surprised that asking for clarification before committing to a multi-year repayment plan resulted in the engagement being declined. If you’re seeking a consultation with detailed explanation of options, it may help to confirm expectations upfront.
