  I came here to cash a settlement check that had pnc bank on it. I am not a pnc member so the teller let me know that it would be a 2.5% fee for the check being cashed since I didn’t have an account and the teller came up with a random number of $390 that would be taken out for cashing the check before even knowing the amount of the check just randomly said $390. She rudely asked me did I want to open an account or cash the check and I declined because why would I give you $390 to cash a $1356 check. Once I told her no she said that’s why I asked did you want to open an account because it would be free. I left went to my car and added the amount and came up with $34 being the 2.5% fee and went back in. She then pulled out her calculator and still couldn’t get the number right and had to ask a different lady to help her who got the number correct. She told the lady she got the decimal placement wrong however you can not mix up $390 from $34. Please hire people that can do simple math on a calculator that gives you the answer. She had a very nice nasty attitude about herself and didn’t take any accountability on being wrong. Even while the other teller was trying to help her she had a rebuttal to everything the lady was saying like she didn’t want to cash my check. There was a Caucasian man before me who she was very nice and happy go lucky with but wanted to be mean and nasty to her own people such a shame. I don’t know if she was new or what but please do better.

  I finally closed the bank account for our little church, which closed its doors in 2021 after nearly 60 years of service to the community. Linda made the process very simple and painless. She was genuine, warm, and caring - I cannot convey how much that helped ease the process.

  My sixteen-year-old daughter visited the teller's window for the first-time last week. She usually does her banking within the PNC student app. However, this week she needed to make a deposit. She walked into the bank with over $600 in ones and change. The teller, Monica Brooks, took the time to explain how to complete the deposits and how to check for errors. I've given this speech before the visit and was sure she could do it on her own. But as soon as she approached the window, all was lost! I'm thankful for Ms. Brook’s patience with my daughter. She didn't have to take the time to calm her down, but she did. I'm sincerely grateful. Kudos to you Ms. Brooks and the employees at the Jonesboro, GA Branch.
