I picked this bank as a start up business because of the lack of fees. However, the restrictions on my account are worse.
A start up business works hard to get off the ground and needs access to their cash, but since I am a “new” account (7 weeks), they put holds on my deposits for 2 weeks. That’s way too long when I have start up expense I am trying to cover with the funds I am earning. I could understand 1-3 business days but 2 weeks is ridiculous.
I called bank and they do have exceptions to take off the hold but will not do it because again I am new.
Once this deposit hits, I’ll be closing my account and finding another bank to do business with.
