I was sent from inside bank to outside ATM to complete my business I needed done, said they didn't handle what I needed anymore but I could complete my need at the ATM. Went to do exactly what I was told and was informed then I had been misinformed on issue and transaction could not be performed. Not to pleased

I have been with this bank for over 30 years through all the transactions. They have always been good to me. The people there for the most part are polite and friendly, with exception of the drive through, sometimes there a couple of women that are not very pleasant and need to be people person people lol! But I like this bank!

Apparently, South State doesn’t respect its customers and feels the need to strip them of their lawful rights when they walk through the door. I closed my account after noticing the sign on the door stating “No Concealed Weapons”. Now I guess I could have just open carried and been within my rights, but the fact they felt the need to take away the only means of my personal safety in an obvious high risk environment even after the extensive background check and probate judge deems me appropriate, tells me they don’t respect me nor have the concern for my safety in mind. I’ll go elsewhere with my business and money.
