    What a terrible experience in the drive thru line. Went to make a payment and was the only car in line. Waited for over 15 minutes without any service. Eventually had to go inside. I would definitely not recommend this branch to anyone. Do your customers a service and improve or close this branch!

    Absolute racist institution. Walked in was accused of having a fake check; which could be a misunderstandin. However, I would later come to find out, the bankers in questions used their PERSONAL cell phone to take pictures of personal information and proceeded to send them to my boss. At the time I was working for toys for tots and the collection box was left in the closet like trash. I came in with every intention of opening account. Thank you Chase for treating me like a human being. Athens deserves better than South State Bank

    They charge to cash a check from their bank - that is BS. I would understand just cashing a check from another bank.
