  I had a vehicle loan thru PNC and used the location in Keystone Heights FL ( near Gainesville )which was Ok for every day type banking. Moved to Venice and was looking to expand my banking use thru PNC and open a safe deposit box at PNC here......MISTAKE! Had an appointment which the banker missed by 20 minutes as she was "at lunch". Safe deposit boxes are a joke at this location...in a small safe in the lobby with no privacy. Decided to close the one checking account I still had with PNC and waited for another 20 minutes for someone to tend to that. My wife and I eventually ended up at Synovus....what a world of difference! Great customer service, good selection of safe deposit boxes...privacy and security and a welcoming, efficient, professional (on time) staff and management. Close the Venice PNC and make it a Dollar Store or something else more useful.

  Today PNC South Venice branch was extremely helpful. Last week on Friday I didn’t receive my regular paycheck direct deposit because I changed banks. So I was issued a paper check in the mail that I waited to be delivered by the mailman today Monday. Because I had auto payments coming out and a minor procedure this morning at the dermatologist I was bandaged up and really needing to replenish my bank account with cash today. I heard that I could take my paycheck to the same bank as my employer which happened to be chase bank and I would only pay a fee to have my check cashed. Well I stated to Chase that I did not have an account and that I was willing to pay a fee. I endorsed the check and then another lady stepped in and said they couldn’t cash my check because I don’t have a Chase account. I was shocked! Because then she said I would need to go to a brick and mortar PNC to explain for them Chase bank as to why the endorsement was canceled. Visiting this branch at PNC I was so pleasantly greeted by a lady with brown curly hair. I wish I got her name. I was pretty stressed out from everything and the team at this location was extremely helpful and nice. I was able to cash my check express to cover my auto payments coming out. I’m so grateful for PNC Bank for helping turn a negative experience to a positive experience. Thank you!

  I have been a loyal PNC customer for approximately 40 years, and I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I have recently experienced. Over the past several days, I have spent hours attempting to resolve a banking issue through both the customer service call center and my local Venice branch. On multiple occasions, I have been transferred between representatives, forced to repeat the same information numerous times, and subjected to excessive hold times. Today alone, I spoke with Tiffany, Glenda, and Allen, a manager. After spending nearly two hours on the phone, the call was disconnected without resolution and without any attempt to call me back. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. On June 17, 2026, I also spoke with Michaela at the Venice branch. She assured me that she would call me first thing the following morning, June 18, 2026. No call was received, nor was any explanation provided. As a customer of four decades, I find this level of service unacceptable. The repeated dropped calls, lack of follow-up, broken commitments, and inability to resolve a simple issue have left me questioning whether PNC values its long-term customers. I am requesting that a senior representative contact me promptly to address my concerns and resolve the matter. I would also appreciate an explanation as to why no callback procedures were followed after multiple lengthy calls were disconnected and why a promised follow-up from the branch never occurred.   The first time my husband and I went there to open an account, the manager assisted us. During the process, she asked inappropriate questions such as, “Are you citizens?” We responded, “Yes, ma’am.” She then asked, “Are you the owners?” and we answered, “Yes.” That same day, my husband was wearing a company hat, and she asked, “Are you a technician?” My husband replied, “No, ma’am, I am a field manager.” Overall, the interaction felt unprofessional and inappropriate.

  This branch is horrible. Keep driving north and go to the Sarasota PNC where you fill receive great customer service.
