This bank has now denied me access to my money three times. Sorry, three strikes and you're out. The last time, they assumed my debit card had been compromised because I took a weekend trip out of town. They closed my card without warning. I found out when I tried to fill my gas tank on my way home. The "fraud prevention" hotline refused to unblock my card, and I had to limp home on fumes and a prayer, sweating and fretting the whole way.
When I went to the bank to close my account, they were completely indifferent to the inconvenience they'd caused me and to the loss of my account. They didn't even bother to ask if there was anything they could do to change my mind. Apparently, the business of an average working person is of no consequence to them.
I recommend you find a bank that appreciates your business. That's what I'm doing.
