Was looking to do a Mortgage loan but forget it now he is the most unresponsive loan officer I ever dealt with. If I have a question he sends an email says looking into will get back- and Nothing! A week of me trying to get him to respond so I am going with another lender - just very bad customer service to say the least.

I was unhappy with the way my home loan was being handled from a different location and was having some issues securing my mortgage with a rigid closing date ahead. Deborah Vaughn, the regional area manager, reached out to me and then stepped in and took care of all issues that were occuring and assured me all would be fine. She was a woman of her word, and she ironed out all wrinkles in the process. I am now a happy homeowner thanks to South State and Deborah's hard work for me, the customer. Thank you! 🤗
