  Awesome experience at this Credit union. Christina helped me professionally and answered any questions I had. Everyone is very nice and welcoming here. They are a great team and an asset to the community.

  I’ve been a customer of San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union, but unfortunately my experience has become increasingly frustrating. The biggest issue is how difficult it is to use my own money. Transactions over a few hundred dollars often require additional approvals or delays, making routine banking far more complicated than it should be. The technology also feels years behind other financial institutions. I only recently received a tap-to-pay chip card, something that’s been standard elsewhere for quite some time. Many requests are handled through a third-party processing bank, so even simple issues can take 3–5 business days to resolve unless you repeatedly follow up, escalate internally, or physically visit the branch to speak with a manager. Their mobile app is another major disappointment. It doesn’t integrate well with common financial planning or budgeting apps, and some connections require additional fees. Charging customers for basic transaction text alerts also feels outdated when most banks provide these notifications at no cost. Email notifications are the primary alternative, but even some notification options come with fees. I appreciate the friendly staff at the local branch, but the overall banking experience has not kept pace with modern expectations. Convenience, technology, and timely service matter, and unfortunately this credit union falls short After this most recent experience, I’ve decided to move all of my accounts to another financial institution. This isn’t the small town credit union anymore.

  I love San Antonio Bank once they got to know me I could open the front door and they say hi Mary how you doing what's up today and that would happen every day that I went in there they say my first name and everything and I'd be the only one in there and that went on for many years I never had a problem at all until all the new neighbors and buildings started showing up and now the little Bank can't serve everybody as best they can because they're small and the little post office also is a given get situation here I walk in the bank and then I see all these new faces waiting in line and I don't see anybody that I know and so there's a lot of building going on so we are going to have to build up our buildings to accommodate our new neighbors so please be patient with us neighbors and let me welcome you to the neighborhood

  We have been banking with San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union for over thirty years personal and business wise. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Feels like family when we go in to do your banking and its funny that when someone leaves its like we are losing our family member and or friend. Thanks for all that you do and for the great experience of banking with you for thirty years.
