  I wanted to take the time, as most people do not when it is something great to say. People are always fast to review when they have a bad experience, most likely because they are just miserable people. I digress! Cogent Bank exceeds expectations! Their customer service in Naples is outstanding, and Fort Myers isn't far behind. As a long-time SWFL resident, I've found that they genuinely care about their customers. You'll feel like a person, not just an account number. Highly recommend making the switch – you won't regret it

  I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Cogent Bank. Both Stephanie and Jessica displayed exceptional professionalism, efficiency, and responsiveness throughout the entire process. Their communication was outstanding, even after the loan was finalized. I can't express enough how helpful and supportive they were. However, I encountered a significant challenge with the appraisal company, Carlson Norris & Associates. It's important to note that Carlson Norris & Associates is not part of Cogent Bank; they are an independent appraisal company. Banks typically use appraisers from a pool of approved providers, and it was simply my luck that this particular company was assigned to my case. Carlson Norris & Associates appraised my property at a significantly lower value than expected, which created complications. This is my personal opinion, but based on my experience, I would advise others to be cautious if this company is assigned to do your appraisal. It might be worth considering a second opinion to ensure an accurate valuation. Despite this hiccup, my overall experience with Cogent Bank was excellent. They demonstrated a genuine commitment to customer service and made the entire process as smooth as possible. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a trustworthy and reliable banking partner.
