  I opened this account last year because of an incentive and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been practical at all. Zelle has ridiculous limitations and frequent freezes, making it unusable as a primary Zelle account. Deposits are extremely slow, and to avoid fees they require maintaining a $25,000 balance. The branch only has one ATM—which is fine, since nobody is ever in there—but it’s excruciatingly slow to use. I hate to do this, but this account has turned into extra clutter rather than something useful. I’m calling to close it.

  Flagstar Bank is awesome! Maritza was amazing and super friendly and helpful the whole way through. She really took the time to make sure everything went smoothly and answered all my questions. Definitely a great experience!

  I was helped by Maritza, and I have to say—she provides the type of white glove, personalized banking experience that is almost impossible to find anymore. She took her time to listen, understand my needs, and guide me through my options in a way that felt tailored specifically to me. This branch still offers the personal attention and respect that most banks have lost. If you’re looking for a bank that treats you like a person not just an account number I highly recommend this branch.
