  All the big corporations and the fees they charge.... We're all human and make mistakes. Its just a shame that these corporations can't take that into account and refund a fee when an honest mistake was made. Truly disappointing.

  This bank has amazing reviews for a reason. Especially this location. They are always greeting you with a smile when you come in. Not to mention they go out of their way to make sure you’re set up properly. Luis was more than helpful and very good at his job, very informative.

  Our experience with SouthState Bank, and specifically Chris Wilson (Commercial Relationship Manager) has been nothing short of incredible. Prior to 2020, we didn't have a banking relationship with CenterState, now SouthState. The banks with which we did business were uninformed, reluctant and somewhat dismissive about the large project we wanted to complete. One employee's "I don't know" with no plan of action to contact someone woth more experience or knowledge in lending was my final straw. Enter Chris Wilson with SouthState. We've been working closely together for over a year now and I can truly say he goes above and beyond for his clients. In fact, everyone we've contacted at SouthState, from the Loan Assistant Team Leader (Tina Snyder), to the back office, to the branch managers, has been stellar and have helped make an arduous process less complicated than it needed to be. We never once felt pressured in the decision making process. Chris would always have answers or connect us with someone else at the bank who could provide clear direction. The bottom line is that if you are in need of commercial lending and want a bank with employees who will exhaust all possibilities to get you the best deal, while providing you with excellent service, this is the place. It truly has all the capabilities and firepower of the large national banks but it has a "community feel". I highly recommend SouthState Bank and my only regret is not having found them sooner.   They are very friendly and efficient.

  Their ATM is almost always down, they dont have the features of other major banks (like app based check deposits) and hardly any locations around town. Their staff are super friendly which raised them a whole star!
