  Handed my drivers license to the teller for a transaction. She never gave it back to me. About 2 hours later I realized I did not have my drivers license but the branch was closed. No one felt like calling me and letting me know they have my license. I am a customer and they have my number. Next day I called the branch. I was on hold for 20 minutes until they finally confirmed they had my license and I can pick it up. Definitely worst customer service of any PNC branch.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this PNC branch and, more importantly, with how a very serious banking error was handled afterward. Last week, a teller named Mia assisted another customer who came into this branch to make a withdrawal. Instead of withdrawing the money from that customer’s account, Mia withdrew the funds from MY account. The customer’s name did not match mine, and I did not even have enough money in my account to cover the amount being withdrawn. Somehow, the transaction was still authorized/overridden, leaving MY account overdrawn because of a withdrawal made by a complete stranger hundreds of miles away. I woke up the next morning to discover my account was overdrawn and had to spend my own time going to my local PNC branch in Coral Springs to figure out what happened. Thankfully, the manager there was extremely helpful. He investigated the transaction, determined that the Bonita Springs branch had processed the incorrect withdrawal, corrected the issue, and provided me with the name of the Bonita Springs branch manager, Edison. When I called Edison the following day, I was shocked to learn that he was NOT already aware of what had happened, despite me being told otherwise. After I explained the situation, he assured me that he would investigate what happened and call me back with a resolution. He did call later that day, but I was in an appointment and missed his call. I returned his call approximately an hour later and left a message. That was last Thursday. Since then, I have called again on Friday, Tuesday, and today and left multiple messages. I have received NO response. Mistakes happen, but this was not a minor mistake. Money was withdrawn from the wrong customer’s account, the names apparently did not match, the account did not have sufficient funds for the withdrawal, and yet the transaction was still processed. That alone is extremely concerning. What makes the experience even worse is the lack of communication and follow-up from management after I repeatedly attempted to get answers. I should not have had to spend my own time tracking down what happened and repeatedly calling for an explanation regarding an error that I did not cause. I appreciate the Coral Springs branch manager for taking the situation seriously and helping correct my account, but I am extremely unhappy with the way the Bonita Springs branch has handled this situation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location. A banking customer should be able to trust that their money cannot simply be withdrawn and handed to another person because of a teller error.

  I have been trying to close an account at this bank for months! They would NOT close it. They kept asking for more and more paperwork, I was going in this branch, every week, for 2 months. Sometimes Viviana would tell me she would call me. Never called me, never followed up. I decided to try just calling the customer service number on a piece of paperwork I got from them recently. Closed it, just like that, over the phone when that entire office on Bonita Beach road couldn't figure it out. Very, very poor service.

  I went to PNC to do banking for my elderly uncle. I needed to accomplish three things. The Teller was able to take care of all my requisites in a timely manner.
