I dropped my documents off on March 26 and never heard back. Called twice in early April to confirm they had everything they need, which they did. I was never notified that my taxes would not be completed before April 15. They were not ready until April 23! Now I am stuck with a hefty penalty for filing late. This is my first year using a tax service, and I will keep filing my own from now on as a result of this terrible experience.

Kristin was great, communication hasn't always been great and after using her for years I won't be returning. Which sucks as Kristin was great but communication with everyone else wasn't.
I cannot stress this enough, if you enjoy great customer service and heavy communication about your finances, DO NOT GO HERE ANYMORE! Auburndale Bookkeeping and Tax used to be the absolute best, not anymore.
We worked with Kristin since 2019, and everything was amazing until this year. They changed the way everything operates in their business - and as you can tell by their responses, they truly do not care that they have hurt people who desire human interaction when it comes to their finances. Calling them is nearly impossible, leaving a voicemail will take you days to hear back, and chatting online is awful since you're not dealing directly with the person filing your taxes.
Their responses are sad in that they are eager to take your money, yet not provide top-tier service like they used to. Hey y'all, if you can't tell by going from a 4.9 rating to almost below a 4 in one tax season, people want face-to-face, non-digitized handling of their money.
We had a sweet relationship with our tax pro for years, and this is such a bitter ending to it. I hate it for your business, what will happen to your decline, I hate that your clients have to find a new means of financial care, and I hate that the customers are not number one to you any longer. Don't blame busy tax season, don't blame the new system or methods, simply take ownership that you made the wrong choice in your business model. We all have busy season in the workplace and we all have a decision to make who and what is MOST important to us. Thank you for the good years, but goodbye. Hopefully, things return to the way they were, but it's not likely.

We have been using Auburndale for years, specifically Tony, as recommended by a family member. As soon as he retired, the service has gone downhill. We also called numerous times for an in-person appointment and never got a call back. When we finally did reach somebody, towards the end of March, we were basically blamed for getting our information to the office late!!! If someone called us back, the information would not have been late. Basically, everyone there has an answer for everything instead of taking some accountability. We felt like a number and definitely overcharged. Save yourself from stress and aggravation and run far from this company.
Terrible charging for copies of 2025 that they never gave me $50 be aware of them not in the right mind
I have I have receipt I could send it here or into your office. Also we were charged twice for doing the tax returns. Everything was paid when I came in to get the copies that they I was asked for $200 for some preparations and $50 for copies it says on both receipts.
