The teller told me he couldn’t cash it because my account had not been opened more than a year, even though I had over $4000.00 in my account. He said I could deposit the check then write a check to myself for $20.00 to get the money. I left with the check and took it to my M&T bank where they cashed it without a problem. By the way, I haven’t seen that teller at the bank since.
