- TDthuy dongJul 1, 20261.0Wow, I’ve never been to a bank that has such bad customer service in a long time since 2008. PNC bank in Lewes Delaware is definitely a bank I will never set foot in. I have a check that was printed by PNC bank and I was mobile deposited to my bank when I found out that their check was a duplicate numbers. I went in to cash the check but there’s a 2.5 percent fee to cash the check. I ask if they could wave it since it was their mistake. They said NO. Understood, the manager and the teller both argued with me in front of their customers waiting in line. They continued to speak to me in a demeaning manner by saying it’s my bank fault. Well, I have pictures to prove it that there were two check with the same numbers. Sadly, this is how customers service are these days. Charge fee and no help or assistance from any one. This is why I stay at my bank for over 30 years. They are not in Delaware but, I’m willing to drive a little farther to get friendly and helpful people to assist me.
