  Working with Vectra Bank on a construction loan was the worst experience I've had with any financial institution. I cannot emphasize enough how much I'd recommend avoiding using this bank. I've gone through the loan process for business loans, personal loans, business construction loans, and mortgages and hands down this experience with Vectra was an outlier from the process with any other institution. The process was supposed to take 6 weeks. I left Vectra after they couldn't get the loan closed in over 4 months. Yampa Valley closed the loan in 2.5 weeks for me. Vectra initially told me no points to close but then added almost $20k worth of points to close by the time I left, which they attributed to delays. The delays were all on their part as I provided documents in a timely fashion. Some documents came from my business and my accountant, both of which told me that the person at Vectra working on my loan was rude to them on the phone. Speaking with managers at Vectra was no help and there was nothing done to make up for their shortcomings. Vectra was deceptive in their lending practices, dragging the process on to try and make money in fees for rate lock extensions. I would recommend going to Yampa Valley Bank or another local institution instead of Vectra. If you aren't convinced by my review, please feel free to reach out and ask me more and I will elaborate.

  I have banked here for years. Everyone here knows me by name and they go out of their way to help with any question I have. They are truly friendly and always greet me with a friendly hello

  Love love this bank and the service I receive here at Vectra. Every single staff member there has always been more than helpful! They do a wonderful job at making me feel welcomed when I'm there and are very eager to help any way they can. Ive never been a fan of any bank, but I can definitely say I love banking with Vectra Colorado here in steamboat!
