- DHDavid HakimiAug 1, 20261.0Exorbitant fee for cashing a check written on PNC if you dont have an account there... and the worst part is, I had an account there that they shut down without asking me. So I got charged $275 to cash an $11k check (couldnt wait for the funds if Chase held them). Also tried cashing a title company check there the day it was cut, and they wouldn't cash it that day, instead making me come back a day later. Typical small bank, 3rd rate service. Dont bother with them... go to Chase, Wells Fargo, US Bank, Bank of America, etc. If you want 1st rate service.
