  I just left a bank where I was issued a check that was drawn directly on that very bank, and they had the nerve to tell me that because I don’t have an account with them, I would have to PAY a fee to cash it. Let that sink in. The check is drawn on your bank, the money is sitting in an account at your bank, and you still want to charge the person receiving the money just to access what they’re owed. That is absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional. If I write someone a check, I don’t expect them to have to pay a fee to get their money—especially when they take that check directly to the bank it was drawn from. If this is how you treat people who aren’t even customers, I can only imagine how you treat the people who are. I certainly wouldn’t open an account there after that experience. Do better.

  Staff is absolutely amazing, friendly, and always ready and willing to help with whatever I need! They always welcome me by name and that's definitely a bonus in my book! Definitely recommend this bank! Thanks for all you do!

  I couldn’t be happier after a recent bank merger from my old bank . Coming to SouthState was the best decision I could have ever made ! Maria was amazing to work with and answered all my questions faster than expected. Glad to be a part of SouthState !!!!

  I enjoy coming to this location every time I visit. I’m always greeted with a warm welcome as soon as I walk through the door. The staff is incredibly kind, and everyone always has a smile on their face. Whenever I have a question or need assistance, the tellers quickly connect me with one of the bankers, and I hardly ever have to wait. They truly value their customers and make every visit a positive experience. This is my favorite bank, and I’m so grateful for the outstanding customer service. Thank you to the entire team for always making me feel welcomed, valued, and important!
