  Sarah Schey and the team at SouthState Bank in Longmont near Pace and 17th are absolutely fantastic. Banking can sometimes feel cold or transactional, especially when you’re trying to figure out the best options for your personal finances or your business. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to have the right tools, support, and options in place so I can keep my business running smoothly and serve my clients the best that I can. That’s one of the things that really stood out to me about SouthState. They don’t just offer personal banking… they also have great options for business owners, which is something not every bank can say. Sarah and the team truly care about people.   I am sick and tired of the ATM/deposit features being out of order!! I just had to go to ALL three branches in Longmont before I could make a deposit! This is the 5th damned time since I opened my account--I don't have time to run all over town--I'm about ready to close my account. Why aren't these machine maintained to prevent this from happening???? I am not going to do the night deposit drop or taking pics of each check.

  I just want to start by saying the employees at this particular branch have been wonderful, regardless of this situation. I've loved banking through this branch, until Southstate took over. I have no problems with the branch, other than Southstate doesn't do in-branch customer service. I have to call everytime Southstate denies a charge, and wait on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. My account was flagged for a $5 charge. They called (luckily) and I was able to approve that one fairly quick. A couple hours later, I needed to send another $5 through the same business. Southstate once again denied the charge. I called and sat on hold, never had any representaive pick up and I gave up. I've never had so many issues with a bank branch and I have rolled over with this bank through every buy out. From Guarantee Bank to Independent Financial and now Southstate. Southstate has been the worst of the 3. I will be transferring all of my funds to a better suited bank who actually cares to help their customers, and not flag a recurring charge of 5 bucks. This bank isn't going to go far in Colorado.
