  When they were 1st Bank. They were good. It took me 2 seconds to realize this bank was terrible as PNC. Once they became PNC, hour long wait times in branch and over the phone. They won't give you more than ten thousand without a schedule appointment for that transaction amount. Because of the incompetence of the staff at this branch. Including manager and clerk who kept rolling her eyes everytime we had a question or was wondering why they were so slow with closing our accounts. I spents 3 hours and had to come back to this branch for them to tell me they couldn't help me after they screwed up the closing of my accounts with a cashier check I couldn't deposit. I had to go to three branches and spend another 2 hrs just to close my account for cash. Since, they printed out a cashier check that didn't have their bank information on it. My bank couldn't take it because of this misprint and they couldn't even fix it. They were handing out cashier checks like this for at least a week. I had to come back to the bank to get cash. When, they said they didn't have the amount in cash on hand and I would have to find a branch that did. They wouldn't even help me find a branch with the cash on hand. This bank is not a bank, they will gladly take your money and will give you a hard time getting it back or closing your account. Good luck if you go with this bank. Oh, by the way, this bank reports all transactions to the federal government. Is this your money or theirs? Save yourself some time and find a good bank or credit union. I am reporting this so everyone knows how bad this bank is.

  Stayed with my FirstBank account for so long because they are real people who at least made you feel like they wanted whats best for you. Then suddenly a random monolithic bank acquires it, charges you a ton of fees without your consent, and charges you more fees on top of those fees when you cant afford the first fees. They refuse to close my account because they keep adding “pending transactions” to my account to keep me from closing it. I am literally getting extorted for money and I had no say in any of these changes to MY account. They dont care about the stress this is putting on me and I recommend going anywhere else. Dont give these money hungry jerks any more money.

  Horrible online customer service and I'm sure you'd be just as unhelpful in store. Twice in row charging a grocery order twice! Waiting painfully for someone to help, never ever ever had this issue with firstbank. This bank, if there is a 'pending charge' just know you're going to have two pending charges. Then you'll have to fight tooth and nail to get someone to help you to get your own money bank. Now I can't pay my rent because this pending charge can take days to fall off, if it even does, because this bank is so incompetent. I can't wait to switch banks!

  Quite literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced with anything let alone my own money in a bank. Ill be closing my account after being a 1st bank customer for 15 years after two interactions with these people.
