  I scheduled an appointment online, took time off work, and showed up on time—only to be told they couldn’t help me because two bank specialists were tied up assisting one customer. If the branch doesn’t have the staff available to honor appointments, then those appointment times shouldn’t be offered in the first place. The whole point of scheduling an appointment is so people with jobs, families, and busy lives can plan accordingly. Allowing customers to book appointments and then turning them away is incredibly disruptive and disrespectful of their time. A branch associate did try to help by checking with the bank specialists. Instead of coming out to speak with us, the branch manager looked over from the meeting room and said, “It’s going to be a long, long time,” making it clear they weren’t going to help me—or the other customer who had also scheduled an appointment. We could both hear and see the conversation. Rather than personally apologizing or offering a solution, the branch manager chose to stay in the back. This wasn’t just poor customer service—it reflected poor branch management. A manager should know how to divide and conquer when multiple customers arrive for scheduled appointments, or ensure the team is trained well enough that everything doesn’t depend on one or two people. To make matters worse, it’s nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone, and now it’s apparently just as difficult to get help in person—even with an appointment. Unfortunately, my accounts were transferred to this bank. After this experience, I’ll be looking into transferring them elsewhere as soon as possible.

  I stopped in to ask a few questions related to my finances, and Noah, Cameron, and Jackie were superb in their helpfulness. They conveyed a genuine and honest desire to provide valuable service in a friendly and professional manner. Without even attempting a sales pitch, they sold me on PNC as a bank I should be looking into as a helpful partner in managing my money. Thanks!!

  Staff is constantly rotating because they can't keep employees at this branch. Contacting them is near impossible, and they don't know their own systems. The last temporary branch manager who setup our account lied about a promo and then left (fired?). New temporary branch manager said too bad for you. Customer service is useless 90% of the time too. Stay away from PNC as a bank, there are many better options.
