One star for the bank holistically, not the branch. Since the transition from 1st Bank the experience has been miserable. I can’t transfer funds from my husbands account to mine through the bank because I’m not in his account to “prevent fraud” but am required to enter my full SSN in the IVR to authenticate?! Make it make sense PNC. You should have spent some of that 4.1 billion in acquisition to update your systems instead of acquisition you can’t handle that regressed cardholder experience. It’s very apparent you care more about protecting yourself from fraud than your customers. Ick.

Horrible experience with closing our account after the 1st Bank merge. Been a customer of 1st bank for over 10 years with no issues, and this PNC transition has been a nightmare. Spent 2 hours waiting to sit down with a banker and got home to realize my cashiers check was never signed. Save yourself the headache and bank somewhere else!!

With the transition from first bank, PNC staff were extremely helpful in getting me logged into my account. I got all my necessary routing and account numbers. Even helped with my business account needs. App is easy to use as well. So far happy with the transition.
