- CPCindilou Peniston1 day ago4.0I recently vistited PNC Bank and had very good service. The staff were all attentive and helpful. First Bank sold to PNC Bank. This is how I ended up here. I owed money for an escrow shortage. I was upset as PNC was threatening to raise my morgage $186.00 a month, if I did not pay the owed amount within 30 days. It was an unplanned expense. I did pay it and my mortgage has now gone up $26.00 a month. This is normal. The staff were empathetic and helped me. My primary bank is not PNC and I did not have a check with me but they helped me figure out a plan to pull funds from my primary credit union to cover this cost. I wanted to create a record that would be retained and knew if I involved my credit union that would help create documentation in case anything came up in the future and I needed proof I had paid this in a timely fashion. I am thankful it worked out. I initially had concerns as PNC is not well known in Denver, I usually only do business with well established financial institutions. I feel the physical structure of the building looked cheap. I worried this may not be a good business. In the end, I felt PNC's customer service was very good. They assured me they could help and they did. We each have biases we have to confront to acheive our goals, to do the right thing and to move forward. I had a good experience with PNC Bank!

- JHJoshua HarrisJul 24, 20261.0was told by a cs person to go into a bank to close our account. Get there, checked in i think the manager said, "sure someone will help you". Waited for 20mins. For the guy to say, nope cant do that cuz you have money in it. WHAT? This is 1 reason (out of many) i'm closing my account. Just awful.
