  Former 1st Bank customer now soon to be former PNC customer. I walked into 2 different branches now that the "transition" is over. Just needed to change a beneficiary (won't allow it online. ) At this branch, 2 employees were laughing and chatting. When they saw me waiting, asked if I had an appointment. Nope. Thus, it would be about a 20 minute wait (3 people were at the teller windows, nothing else going on.) He suggested I go to the former 1st bank branch up the road. I did. That branch...literally packed! I got in line in their waiting area (5 people already waiting.) After sitting 15 minutes with no acknowledgement I was there, some woman with a clipboard asked for someone by name. I was surprised and asked if I needed to sign up. She said, "PNC is big on appointments." I was astounded. How was I to know that? She didn't care and moved on. I walked out. After carefully examining my financial situation, I now have an exit plan from PNC. And all I wanted to do was change a beneficiary. I'm rather tired of people behaving like I don't have a right to decent customer service. Very few people do their jobs with integrity, kindness or actual helpfulness anymore. A true shame. Oh, going completely online with my banking now.

  Seems like anyone that has a problem is asked to contact them via Twitter or Facebook, what if you don't have social media? I'm going to give it a try but if I'm not impressed (currently not from what I'm reading) I'm going to Canvas, the new Colorado bank.

  Never bank with PNC I have made four phone calls and have gone in person all to get a letter of release. I paid my car five years ago in this bank can’t even send you a letter clearing you of a debt you paid back in 2021 I called over 4 weeks ago and still have not seen the letter. During the initial call, they said it would be 5 to 7 days. It’s now been a month . I keep being told to wait this is beyond ridiculous.

  PNC will charge you 7 dollars a month to have bank account. So they charge you to have a bank account... wow so I have to pay you to have this head ache. I get fees once a year but I have to pay PNC every month? Yeah ok capitalism working at its best.... PNC works against the poor
