  The lines here are terrible, and the staff are extremely slow, I would highly not recommend coming here

  7 Jul 2026 - First time in lobby since 1st Bank to PNC changeover. I was greeted by a bank associate who basically did "triage"; i.e. asking what we needed help with and getting us in the queue to talk to a representative. Mainly I had questions about Venmo issues and whether PNC caps the allowable amount transferred. Also requested similar info re: Zelle. (BTW, answer is that PNC does not cap the amount, but both Venmo and Zelle have daily limits.) I found the representative helpful, courteous, and didn't rush me (sorry - didn't get his name). Before leaving I expressed appreciation for the greeter set-up and asked whether this was just something they're doing for the first few weeks after the tranisition. The answer was no, this is ongoing PNC policy to have a greeter. So, I think that is a good thing. That said, I deducted a star as they probably could use a few more folks at the associate desks (think there were three on duty when I was there) during this transition as it seemed like a fairly long wait. While not there to see a teller, I observed that the line for the tellers was perhaps 8 customers deep max, and seemed to be moving along at a decent pace. I am waiting to see how things go before deciding whether to stay or move to another bank---but my experience, this visit, for my particular situation, was positive. As far as the online app, I've so far found the mobile check deposit feature a step down from what 1st Bank app had as far as ease of use. I've provided direct feedback on that already, but would be interested in other reviewers' comments re: the app.

  Rude tellers. No one wants to actually help. I have been trying to set up my online account for days spending hours a day. I went in today asked for help . Jason told me I needed to provide account and routing. I did so. Went back to Jason and he said to just do it online. I told him I have tried and it doesn't work. Jason said well just try again What's the point in having customer service reps that dont help. Will be closing my account.

  Worst bank ever!! Merged with FirstBank and ruined it. PNC customer service reps are RUDE and condescending. Takes FIVE DAYS to post anything. Went into my branch to speak to someone but didn’t have time to wait behind the other fifteen disgruntled FirstBank customers waiting to do the same thing. GARBAGE BANK!! EVEN WORSE MANAGEMENT!!!

  Yikes. Went 6/26 a few days after the change from Firstbank. Parking lot was full, long line for tellers and clearly not a completely smooth transition. Didn't get a receipt when I closed a savings account and transferred it to my new PNC checking account. Today 7/1 went back to deposit a check. Parking lot full, longish line for tellers and too many people waiting in the lobby with other issues. I asked for a receipt for the closed savings account but it was not clear for them how to do that so it took a while. In the end, the teller did not hand me the receipt for today's deposit and I didn't notice until I got home. Just saying. It has to be better by the next time I go in or I will probably move to a different bank or credit union. P.S. In some cases PNC bank is still using reviews posted to Firstbank locations so look at the date of the reviews. Anything before 6/22 was Firstbank.
