- DFDarlene FinkSep 25, 20261.0Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service at the Flagstar Phelan branch\. We have been given the biggest runaround imaginable. We were told to go into the bank because they could help us. We went to the Phelan branch and were told they couldn’t help and that we needed to call the 800 number. We call the 800 number and are told to GO TO THE BANK. How is this acceptable customer service? The worst part of the experience was dealing with Mickey at the Phelan branch. “Mickey” was rude, completely unhelpful and ultimately HUNG UP ON ME. I am shocked that a bank would allow a customer to be treated this way. We weren’t asking for special treatment—we were trying to get help with our banking issue and simply wanted someone to take responsibility instead of continually passing us back and forth. Flagstar needs to seriously look at the customer service being provided at this location. Being frustrated with a bank is one thing. Having an employee hang up on a customer who is trying to get help is completely unacceptable.
