- AGArt GonzalesSep 1, 20261.0If you want to open a checking account, I suggest you go somewhere else. I went in to open a checking account on a Wednesday. I sat there for 20 minutes after I filled out my paperwork. Waiting to talk to somebody. I finally sat down with a employee and they told me that my application for a checking account has to be cleared by somebody at the bank. They said they will get back to me the next day with an answer on whether or not I can open a checking account or not. I waited all day the next day and no phone call. Friday came along and again no phone call. If you want to open a bank account, a checking account or any kind of account, I suggest you go somewhere else. I went online with Wells Fargo and was able to open up a checking account in 5 minutes. Foothills Bank is the worst!
